Vapora Releases LIVE! From Japan
LIVE! From Japan arrives today through Vaporsoft Records. Vapora’s eleven-track album brings together city pop, synth pop, and nu-disco in an energetic, euphoric, and nostalgic setting, adding a vivid new chapter to the catalog.
The tracklist travels through names associated with places across Japan. “Tokyo” opens the album, followed by “Yokohama,” “Sendai,” “Osaka,” and “Nagoya.” “Sapporo,” “Okinawa,” “Kyoto,” “Kobe,” and “Hiroshima” extend the sequence before “Tokyo Girlfriend” closes the release. Those titles give the album a clear geographic frame without requiring it to be described as a documentary of a real journey.
Produced between January and May 2026, LIVE! From Japan expands the city-pop direction represented by the Tokyo Girlfriend single. Synth pop and nu-disco broaden its genre palette, while the shared energetic and nostalgic moods connect the two releases. Across just under thirty-two minutes, the album offers a full-length setting for that chapter of Vapora’s work.
Following the nighttime vaporwave of Plaza After Dark and Plaza After Dark X, this release brings another kind of city atmosphere into focus. Its presentation connects distinct locations with a cohesive genre and mood palette, continuing the label’s interest in music with a strong visual identity.
